Keisha Montfleury is the founder of HandiWork LLC
whose purpose is to support our girls ages 5-12 in having a HEALTHY CONFIDENCE so she is not giving into negative behavior such as self-harm and bullying
This is important to Keisha because after participating in an unhealthy relationship for years, her passion was ignited after she understood how important it is to value ourselves as women. It was not until she became intentional about putting herself first by investing her time and efforts into wise areas that she realized, in order to have healthy relationships with other people, we must first be in a healthy relationship with ourselves.
Keisha has received her Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, with a concentration in Human/Child Development. She has been in the Child Development field for 16yrs, currently possess her Program Director Child Development Permit through the State of California Commission of Teacher Credentialing. She is also a Certified Teen Life Coach, an author of 3 workbooks called:
5 Day Activity Guide (Young Girl Edition): (For girls ages 4 1/2 to 10)
5 Day Activity Guide (Older Girl Edition): (For girls ages 11-18)
Activity Guide for all Youth (Ages 4 1/2- and up )
all 3 books provide an impactful message of the importance of having HEALTHY CONFIDENCE, WHILE providing the practical tools to practice the skills necessary to be successful.
HandiWork LLC Recieved a $500.00 Grant from Women Organizing Women
Keisha believes that:
"It is our responsibility to encourage a generation that is armed with the tools, and knowledge to thrive as individuals"
Keisha is also the founder of Abundantly Authentic a faith based nonprofit organization and whose purpose is to encourage our young girls to practice having a positive self-esteem so they will know how to participate in healthy relationships and know their worth through Christ. This is done by hosting a series of workshop for girls and their moms that are geared towards building a bond between the two, reminding moms that they are the first example of what an abundant, authentic woman looks like. Each workshop is set on a foundation which include five keys to be an “Abundantly Authentic girl”.
